As a graphic designer with over 15 years of experience, I sought out a better explanation for why great design is great. In search of the answer to that question I fell in love with the study of learning and cognition. I found a perfect blend of my two passions by specializing in learning with graphics and earning two master’s degrees in International Cognitive Visualization and Educational Sciences. I utilized my education in design and psychology while working with and teaching adults with intellectual disabilities for 10 years.
As a parent with a background steeped in behavior, cognition, and learning, I applied my background to my parenting journey. This unique background has brough me joy in adapting my expertise to fit the practicality of what it means to parent each and every day.

With a Master’s degree in Psychological Sciences and 20+ years experience working with youth of all ages and backgrounds, I aim to continue expanding upon my passion for learning and education.
My goals are to stay up to date with the latest approaches to parenting, while incorporating my knowledge and skills to teach parents how to maximize their children’s potential, thrive in their individual environment, and empower parents and caregivers to facilitate effective learning and appropriate behavior in their children. Humor and diligence are the twin pillars that drive me forward to turn goals into achievements.

As someone who has always been interested in how humans learn and interact, I earned a Master’s degree in Psychological Sciences and began working as a behavioral consultant for adults with intellectual disabilities. Over the past decade, I have developed an expertise in behavioral data analysis, using individually referenced measurement to understand patterns in behavior, teach new skills, and monitor behavior plans.
I truly believe that data can be a wonderful tool for behavior change, and I hope to use my analysis skills to support caretakers and parents who seek to teach fundamental skills and reduce maladaptive behaviors.
